Emergency Heart of Texas Round Rock, TX Full-time:
Sunday and Monday 12pm-12am and Wednesday 4pm-4am. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $18/hour. The final pay will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. About You As an Emergency Veterinary Technician Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting urgent and critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital. Your work will include hands-on patient support, safe animal restraint, triage assistance, outpatient treatments, laboratory sample collection, diagnostic support, patient monitoring, and compassionate client service during emergency visits, admissions, and discharges. Role Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Assisting with basic patient care and husbandry, including feeding, cleaning, and maintaining patient comfort Safely handling and restraining patients during exams, treatments, and procedures Support accurate and timely medical record documentation Performing basic laboratory tests and preparing samples as directed Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked hospital environment Ensuring exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment are prepared and ready for patient care Supporting veterinarians and technicians to ensure efficient daily hospital operations
