Calling all Veterinary Technicians and Experienced Veterinary Assistants! Western Veterinary Partners is hiring across multiple veterinary hospitals throughout the greater Salt Lake City area. Whether you're an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), an experienced Veterinary Assistant, interested in a leadership opportunity, or looking for a unique, full-time Regional Technician position, we'd love to learn more about your career goals. Schedule :
Varies by hospital and position. Full-time, part-time, leadership, and Regional Relief opportunities may be available. Tell us what you're looking for.
Compensation:
Veterinary Technician $22
  • $31/ hour
Veterinary Assistant:
$15
  • $20/ hour Within the range, individual pay is determined by position, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Benefits:
Bonus package: Select positions may offer sign-on bonuses of up to $2,000, depending on the role, location, and credentials.
CE allowance:
$500
  • 1,000 available annually for CVTs, based on tenure Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k
  • with company match beginning in 2027 Depending on location and position hired
  • up to 120 hours of combined vacation and sick time, plus holidays Personal pet discounts Additional benefits may be available based on location Benefits vary by position and hospital location What we're looking for: Depending on the opportunity, qualifications may include: Active Utah Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials or eligibility for licensure Recent CVT graduates preparing for the VTNE are encouraged to apply Prior clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to high-quality patient care Technical skills may include: Anesthesia monitoring Surgical assistance Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Patient nursing care Laboratory diagnostics Digital radiography Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Exam room support and client education Whether you're looking for your next hospital, career advancement, or greater flexibility, we'd welcome the opportunity to discuss which position best aligns with your experience and career goals.
