This energetic role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine compassionate animal care with exceptional client service. You will be the friendly face greeting pet owners, managing appointments, and providing vital support to our veterinary staff. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where animals and their owners feel confident and cared for every step of the way. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their veterinary experience while making a positive impact on animal health and well-being. Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage front desk operations efficiently. Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with animal restraint, handling, and basic procedures. Support animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and maintaining surgery recovery kennel areas to ensure optimal comfort and hygiene. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery, and assist with laboratory sample collection following aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate records of pet care, medical history, treatments, and laboratory results using veterinary terminology. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during all procedures to ensure safety for staff and animals. Monday through Friday with 1 day off during the week (7:50am to 6:00pm) and every other Saturday (7:50am to 1:30pm). Closed Sundays.
