Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and excellent customer service skills. Duties as a
Receptionist/Assistant:
  • Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Assist with billing and processing payments
  • Maintain accurate records keeping of patient information
  • Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Restrain animals during examination and laboratory procedures (if needed)
  • Teamwork And adaptability Duties as an
Assistant:
  • Animal handing
  • Patient Monitoring
  • Client communication
  • Assisting with examinations
  • Medical Recordkeeping
  • Kennel Attendant (including being available for holidays and weekends)

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred (at least 1 to 2 years)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and employees
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of animal anatomy and basic animal care
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques for handling medical equipment
