Hourly pay of $15 per hour with additional incentives for students enrolled in an in-state LVT program Flexible scheduling, 48 hours of Paid Time Off after a 90-day Introductory period, 96 hours after 2 years and 120 hours after 5 years, 3 paid Holidays and 1 floating Holiday. 70% paid Health Insurance with dental and vision insurance options available along with up to 3% matching when you join our Retirement plan. A uniform allowance available upon hire and Continuing Education Stipend (In addition to Free CE through our Fear Free and AAHA Memberships) Company paid Professional License Dues, and Membership Dues for State and National Associations Up to $1000 in credits to be used for your own pets' Veterinary care annually plus a discount on products.We are:
A Fear Free, Cat Friendly and AAHA Certified four Doctor practice A Progressive Animal Hospital-offering traditional and alternative treatments including: Dental, digital radiography, ultrasound, laboratory services, hospital and intensive care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, class IV laser therapy, acupuncture and holistic medicine, preventative and wellness care, exotic pet services and much more.You are:
A highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Assistant with a positive attitude who is team oriented and excited to learn new things. Able to maintain a clean hospital and work area, handle cats and dogs (and their people) with confidence. Able to stand and be mobile for long periods of time. Comfortable admitting and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, performing laboratory tests, performing basic computer tasks, lifting up to 40 pounds, problem solving and able to do it all while keeping your sense of humor.
