Veterinary Emergency and Specialty of Tidewater (VEST) is a privately owned, state-of-the-art hospital. If you are looking to grow with a company that has a VEST ed interest in you, look no further! Currently there are opportunities for full-time assistants. Emergency experience is preferred, however, assistants eager to expand their skill set with urgent care or high volume general practice experience are encouraged to apply. This position offers support and mentorship from board-certified criticalists. Primary responsibilities include patient restraint, client communication, performing in-house laboratory diagnostics and supporting the doctor and LVT. Our hospital is equipped with CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, hi-flow O2 and a separate ICU complete with Synder unit.
