Veterinary Technician/Assistant

We are a friendly, fast-paced small animal veterinary clinic looking for a veterinary technician/assistant to join our team. The position involves preparing patients for procedures, assisting in surgery, and discharging patients. Technicians also assist with appointments including obtaining patient information and handling patients during exams and treatments. Animal handling experience and medical knowledge are very helpful, as are computer skills since we have computer-based medical records. We work as a team to provide the best care for our patients. Veterinary Technician certification is preferred, but will train the right applicant. Pay commensurate with experience. Must be able to lift 30lbs.
