Kennel Assistant

Holly Vet Clinic is a modern, independently owned veterinary clinic in Kenmore serving the greater Seattle area. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kennel Assistant to help support patient care, cleanliness, and daily clinic operations. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in veterinary medicine, animal care, or gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Walking, feeding, and monitoring hospitalized and boarding pets Cleaning kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and common spaces Cleaning and sanitizing medical equipment and clinic tools Assisting with laundry, dishes, and general clinic organization Safely handling dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments Restraining pets for technicians and veterinarians when needed Stocking supplies and helping maintain a clean, efficient workflow Assisting with basic patient care tasks under supervision

Qualifications:

Comfortable working around dogs and cats Able to lift and restrain pets safely (up to 50+ lbs with assistance) Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment Comfortable in a fast-paced setting that may involve cleaning bodily fluids and handling medical cases Previous animal experience is a plus, but not required
