For more than 50 years, we've cared for pets and built lasting relationships with their families in the Lakewood community. Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Safely restraining animals for examinations, diagnostics, and treatments Preparing exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites Monitoring hospitalized patients Assisting with basic patient care Collecting and preparing laboratory samples as directed Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment notes Sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment Communicating professionally with pet owners Assisting with client education Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment Supporting teammates as patient-care needs change throughout the day Contributing to a positive and collaborative hospital environment What You'll Bring We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who combines a genuine love for animals with the motivation, communication skills, and organization needed to thrive in a busy veterinary practice.Requirements for this position include:
