The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for pet owners and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in the system. Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures as needed. Provide information on services, medications, and pet care to clients. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism. Process payments and manage billing inquiries. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians to ensure high-quality care. Assist in laboratory tasks such as sample collection when required. Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Familiarity with veterinary terminology is highly desirable. Skills in animal restraint and care are advantageous. Ability to work effectively at the front desk while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent pet care. Certification as a Veterinary Technician is an asset but not required.
