Our practice manager makes sure everyone is well taken care of by keeping the breakroom fully stocked and reminds everyone to take breaks and lunches. We are becoming very busy so having some knowledge in assisting would be great but will train the right person that has drive ,motivation ,empathy ,compassion and most importantly excellent customer service skills .Must be open to working weekends. Must have experience working in a fast pace environment with little supervision. Our Veterinary Assistants are responsible but not limited to the following: Rooming clients with there pets Getting full history on patients Assist in surgical procedures Dental prophylaxis, Dental radiographs ,full body radiographs Maintain medical records Answer client calls Documenting records Research medications and treatment options for complicated medical cases Maintain positive and trusting relationships with clients Experience with pocket pets is a bonus not necessary.
