Veterinary Assistant Compensation:
DOE but pay exceeds industry standard Employment type: part-time to full-time The Cat's Meow Feline Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team! As a clinic, we believe in providing high quality veterinary medicine and compassionate care for all of our patients. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for providing high quality medical care, strives for clear communication with both clients and coworkers, thrives in an uplifting fast paced environment, and, most of all, really loves cats! Other great qualities we are looking for are reliability, superior attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Duties will be those typically assigned to a Licensed Veterinary Technician/Assistant including but not limited to: venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, operating laboratory equipment, administering vaccines and medications, surgical preparation and assisting, taking diagnostic digital radiographs, performing dental prophys and taking dental digital radiographs, filling prescriptions, etc. We are open Monday-Friday (no weekends) and our team members work no more than four 10 hour shifts per week. Our clinic is located in the wonderful Perry District next to Perry Street Pizza and across from The Shop. If this sounds like you, then we would love to get to know more about you!
