Veterinary Assistant - Full-Time (4-Day Work Week, No Weekends or Holidays!) Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant looking to join a friendly, supportive, and privately owned small animal/exotics clinic? We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to become part of our dedicated team as our current assistant is relocating to a new state! About the
Position:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our doctors and Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) while providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinarians and CVTs during exams and procedures Handling animals, including exotic species, safely and compassionately in a medical setting Performing venipuncture and running in-house laboratory tests Checking in clients and assisting with front desk duties as needed Answering multi-line phones and communicating with clients in a professional and caring manner Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant is required Animal handling experience in a medical or clinical setting is required Strong communication and client service skills Detail-oriented, dependable, and a true team player with a positive attitude
