Paws & Co is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We're looking for someone who knows their way around a veterinary clinic, enjoys staying busy, and genuinely likes working as part of a team. Paws & Co is a high-quality, wellness-focused veterinary clinic in Green Bay. We take excellent care of our patients, communicate well with our clients, and work hard, but we also really enjoy working together. What You'll Be Doing Depending on your experience and skill level, responsibilities may include: Phlebotomy and blood draws Assisting with surgery and anesthesia Monitoring patients under anesthesia Surgical and dental preparation and recovery Preparing prescriptions Patient care Assisting veterinarians during appointments Safe and effective animal restraint and handling Helping keep the day moving smoothly Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, positive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

You should be able to:

Multitask without losing track of the details Work efficiently while still providing excellent patient care Communicate professionally and kindly with clients Safely restrain dogs and cats Lift up to 50 lbs. Work well with veterinarians and coworkers Use computers and veterinary software confidently Notice what needs to be done and jump in to help Bring a positive attitude to work Previous veterinary clinic experience is strongly preferred , and priority will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in areas such as blood draws, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and patient care. Most importantly, we're looking for a team player . We want someone who likes animals and people, takes pride in doing a good job, and wants to work somewhere that is professional without being stuffy. The Schedule Full-time Monday through Thursday Day shift Three-day weekends every week! Yes, really. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is yours. Experience Veterinary Assistant experience:
