Job Type Part time VCA Veterinary Emergency Service & Veterinary Specialty Center in Madison, WI is expanding and is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for our Surgery Services.

Position Overview:

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant who is passionate about specialty medicine, wants to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families facing cancer diagnoses, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Handling Surgery patient intakes, treatments, and follow-up appointments Providing compassionate support and clear communication to pet parents Collaborating with the Surgery team and other departments Obtaining and preparing lab samples (blood, urine, cytology, etc.) Performing radiographs and monitoring imaging procedures Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment logs Schedule This is a Part-time position, Tuesday and Wednesday shifts.

Qualifications:
