Job Description
CheckOut Veterinary is seeking employees who genuinely enjoy working with animals and can deal with them even when stressed, ill or in pain. A strong candidate is well spoken and approaches job duties in a mature nature. Can support and participate in a team approach to work; works well with all levels of hospital team members. Ability to build rapport with clients, team members and leadership. Job duties include but are not limited to: Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas in accordance with clinic standards. Effectively restrain pets. Assists in reception area. Obtain medical history at appointments. Client education. Set up clinical laboratory procedures such as fecal floatation exams, heartworm tests, skinscrapings, urinalysis, ear cytology and fungal cultures. Assist with diagnostic procedures (radiographs, ultrasound, etc). Performs other duties as assigned including assisting in other areas.
