Job Description

We are an AAHA-certified small animal practice with a supportive, team-focused culture, looking to add a positive, reliable, and friendly Veterinary Assistant to our growing team. Our three-doctor practice values high-quality medicine, collaboration, and compassionate care for both our patients and clients. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, and brings a calm, caring presence to busy clinical environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Safely restrain and handle patients Perform laboratory testing Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization Support patient care before, during, and after procedures Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and team members Follow AAHA standards and clinic protocols Maintain accurate records and assist with general clinic flow Utilize our Shepherd Practice Management Software Qualifications Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant required References required Experience in a small animal practice preferred Reliable, punctual, and professional Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care Hours for this position are: Monday

Thursday:

8:00am

•5:00pm

Friday:

8:00am

•3:00pm

$17.00

•$19.00 per hour
