Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Veterinary Technician to support our medical team, oversee daily technician workflows, and ensure exceptional patient care and client service. This role is ideal for a strong clinical technician who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining high medical standards, and partnering closely with veterinarians and hospital leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Patient CareProvide high-quality nursing care, including patient assessments, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory procedures, and treatment administrationAssist veterinarians with examinations, surgery, and medical proceduresEnsure accurate medical records and compliance with hospital protocolsMaintain a safe, clean, and well-organized treatment and surgical environmentLeadership & Team SupportServe as a clinical leader and resource for veterinary technicians and assistantsTrain, mentor, and support onboarding of new team membersHelp coordinate daily technician scheduling, case flow, and task delegationPromote a positive, collaborative, and respectful team cultureSupport performance coaching and provide feedback in partnership with hospital leadershipOperations & Quality StandardsMonitor inventory levels and assist with ordering medical suppliesEnsure adherence to hospital safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelinesSupport workflow efficiency and continuous improvement initiativesHelp implement new protocols, equipment, or medical standardsClient CommunicationProvide clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, estimates, discharge instructions, and follow-up careSupport client education to enhance compliance and patient outcomesQualificationsWe're looking for:

RequiredPrevious experience as a Lead Veterinary Technician or in a senior/mentoring technician roleStrong clinical skills in anesthesia, surgery assistance, diagnostics, and patient careExcellent communication, organization, and leadership abilitiesAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to high medical standards and compassionate carePreferredCredentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not requiredExperience with inventory management, scheduling coordination, or workflow leadershipFamiliarity with electronic medical record systems and standard veterinary softwareAdditional InformationWe offer our staff:
