Position available for experienced Veterinary Technician or Technician Assistant. Qualified applicants must have at least one year of small animal clinical experience. Required skills include catheter placement, venipuncture, radiography, ability to restrain, familiarity with common medications and instruments, basic triage skills, and the ability to process and submit laboratory specimens. Higher end of pay scale available for applicants with familiarity monitoring anesthesia including the use of EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. Knowledge of ETCO2 and experience with dental cleaning and dental radiography is helpful but not mandatory. This is a busy, established practice. We are fortunate to have very motivated clients who really care about their pets. We generally work ten our shifts, and applicants should be available for occasional Saturdays.
