VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician in our Oncology Department to work at our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 18-doctor practice in Mesa, Arizona.

Full-Time, 4 days, 10-hour shift, Tuesday
- Friday 7:30 am
- 5:30 pm We are looking for qualified, experienced Technicians to share in a growing, exciting, fast-paced environment in our surgical dept.
The candidate MUST be able to work weekends. Previous emergency experience HIGHLY preferred. Previous veterinary technician experience is a MUST. Most importantly, must be client-oriented and have high customer service skills. We are a 24-hour emergency/specialty practice looking for Technicians with positive personalities, whose attributes reflect attention-to-detail, self-motivation, compassion, and reliability. Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Dentistry Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture Catheter placement Pharmacy Patient recovery Client Communication Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have documented previous experience Hold a current CVT license (preferred) Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays Customer service skills Working knowledge of computers Excellent communication skills Capable of being cross-trained as a receptionist and kennel assistant Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments Why You Should Consider Us
