Support production operations through technical evaluations, drawing interpretation, and engineering analysis. - Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline
- Typically 5+ years of related engineering experience
- Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses
- Knowledge of commercial aircraft or defense systems
- Experience with VC-25 or B747 aircraft design principles, including wiring diagrams and specifications
- Prior Material Review Board (MRB) experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with electrical drawings
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and schematics Job Duties & Functions
- Apply design principles in conjunction with Material Review Board processes to disposition discrepant products during fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses
- Provide on-site engineering support to operations partners
- Support production activities in an operations and manufacturing environment
- Review discrepant products and determine appropriate engineering dispositions
- Coordinate with operations personnel to resolve production-related issues
- Evaluate electrical wire harness fabrication and installation concerns
