Desert View Animal Hospital is a privately-owned progressive, state-of-the-art hospital located at the corner of Thomas and 46th St. We are looking to add a career-minded, thoughtful, compassionate veterinary technician with excellent communication skills. Our focus is client service and patient care. We want staff that reflects our desire to care for the patients like members of their own family. You would be assisting the doctor to the fullest possible extent, to maintain and improve the quality of care given to the patients and to aid the doctors in achieving the greatest efficiency by relieving them of technical work responsibilities. You would also be assisting in multiple procedures providing care for patients, including physical examinations, extensive client interaction, dental and surgical procedures, pre and post-operative patient care, vaccinations, laboratory testing, euthanasia, patient nursing care, as well as client education, accurately entering service charges into client processing database, creating and presenting financial options and estimates, preparing medications and inventory. This is a full-time veterinary technician position. At least 4 years of experience required.
