We are a privately-owned specialty referral hospital and we are looking to add to our growing team. Our board-certified specialists and personalized atmosphere set us apart from the rest and will provide you with a unique nursing opportunity. What are we looking for? An experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team to provide overnight patient care and monitoring for our hospitalized and post-surgical patients.
An ideal candidate must:
Have passion with the Human-Animal bond Have strong veterinary nursing skills (venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia, surgical monitoring, emergency and critial care knowlege preferred) Work cohesively with hospital doctors and staff by effectively communicating and providing assistance, ideas, and support A minimum of 3 years veterinary technician preferred This position will require about 40 hours a week, usually 12-hour shifts.
