MUST HAVE AN EXPEREINCE AS A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

for more than 3 years. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal patients' vital signs and overall health during procedures. Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with team members and clients. Maintain accurate medical records for each animal patient. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure cleanliness during procedures. Provide education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and training. Handle and restrain animals safely for examinations and treatments. Assist with dental cleanings and procedures using appropriate dental terminology. Qualifications Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role within a veterinary setting. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and critical care practices. Knowledge of dog training techniques and handling skills is preferred. Proficiency in performing X-ray imaging and interpreting results is advantageous. Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safety for both staff and animals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate pet owners effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to providing compassionate care to all animals. Familiar with AVImark system.
