Located in Rita Ranch. We are looking for a full or part time veterinary technician for our growing small animal practices in Tucson, with at least 1 year experience working in a clinic as a veterinary technician. Applicant must be well organized and able to multi-task, with great communication skills and a motivated team player approach. Applicant will exhibit a highly professional demeanor. We offer a modern, state of the art facility offering cutting edge medical services. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience, with benefits available to qualified candidates.   • Utilize veterinary experience to assist in animal care and handling, including dog and animal restraint.
  • Apply knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology in daily tasks.
  • Perform animal catheterization and provide pet care as needed.
  • Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
  • Assist in veterinary critical care situations and support in laboratory procedures.
  • Apply skills in animal husbandry and kennel experience to ensure the well-being of animals.
  • Utilize equine experience when necessary.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other team members to provide high-quality care to animals.
  • Assist in X-Ray procedures and support in dog training and pet grooming as needed.
  • Bilingual is Highly recommended but not required.
