We are passionate about providing a loving and peaceful environment for cats and their owners, fostering a fun and responsible team atmosphere. Join our little cat family and help us deliver exceptional care with a touch of elegance! Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician or veterinary assistant with experience working in a veterinary clinic to join our team and support the health and well-being of our feline guests. This is a weekend position either 8am-2pm or 2pm- 8pm shifts. This energetic role involves animal care and the proper understanding of sanitation. Must be able to communicate well with clients and your team, ensuring every pet receives top-quality support and love. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment (sometimes slow) and love working with cats, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills! Responsibilities Be skilled in nose to tail health checks and nail trimming . Be able to read cat body language and behavior Have a clear understanding of the importance of keeping areas clean and sanitized Administering medications and occasional IV fluid Communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions and possible treatment plans Experience Previous veterinary technician experience or similar animal healthcare background Kennel experience and animal husbandry knowledge preferred Familiarity with veterinary terminology and feline physiology Hands-on experience a must Skilled in cat handling, nail trims and cat restraint Experience in emergency medicine and critical care settings is a plus Proficiency in veterinary record keeping Join us to make a difference in the lives of cats and their owners!
