Veterinary Technician Join Our Exceptional Team in Calabasas! Are you a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician looking to work in a hospital that values high-quality medicine, teamwork, and professional growth? We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team at our state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in Calabasas. Our hospital provides General Practice, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Cardiology , offering a diverse caseload and the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and specialists. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care while fostering a positive, supportive, and family-oriented work environment. As our hospital continues to grow, we are looking for motivated team members who are passionate about veterinary medicine and dedicated to delivering outstanding care to both patients and clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures Monitor and care for hospitalized patients Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory sample collection, and diagnostic testing Prepare and monitor patients for surgical and medical procedures Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians Obtain accurate patient histories and communicate effectively with clients Assist with radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and dental procedures Maintain accurate medical records Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications:
Previous veterinary technician experience required Strong technical and patient care skills Surgical and anesthesia experience preferred Excellent communication and client education skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Experience with EzyVet veterinary software is preferred Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is a plus but not required
