In this vital role, you will provide exceptional animal care, assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our animal patients. Your expertise in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and clinical procedures will help us deliver top-tier veterinary services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and equines, while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Duties Assist veterinarians with clinical examinations, surgical procedures, and diagnostic tests using aseptic techniques Handle animals safely and effectively through proper restraint, including dog training and animal husbandry practices Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to support accurate diagnoses Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, laboratory results, and patient histories in compliance with clinic protocols Take radiographs (X-ray) and assist with imaging procedures. Support critical care cases by monitoring vital signs and administering treatments under veterinarian supervision Manage kennel operations, including cleaning, feeding, and monitoring animals' well-being during their stay
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
