Job Description
Veterinary Technician Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccinations and medications
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
- Take and develop X-rays
- Administer anesthesia and monitor animals during procedures
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records
Experience:
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques
- Familiarity with veterinary equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
