Job Description

Veterinary Technician Duties:
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccinations and medications
  • Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
  • Take and develop X-rays
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor animals during procedures
  • Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery
  • Maintain accurate medical records
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a veterinary technician or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques
  • Familiarity with veterinary equipment and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
