HIGH QUALITY, LOW VOLUME

. We also provide avian specialty veterinary services and advanced surgeries and procedures for birds. The ideal candidate has an excellent work ethic, has at least 5+ years working as a veterinary technician, and motivated to learn. Strong preference for RVTs with dental extraction experience. Key duties include inducing/monitoring anesthesia, performing dental extractions, suturing, taking radiographs, administering vaccines/medications, and providing veterinary patient care for dog, cats, birds and small exotic mammals.

Core Responsibilities & Tasks Anesthesia & Surgery:

Induce and monitor anesthesia, prepare patients for surgery, and assist in surgical procedures; recovering patients from anesthesia post-operatively.

Clinical & Laboratory:

Perform laboratory tests (blood counts, urinalysis), take radiographs, and collect samples.

Treatment & Care:

Administer medications (oral, SC, IM, IV, IO), vaccines, and treatments; apply bandages and splints.

Dental Care:

Perform teeth cleaning, polishing, and extractions.

Client Communication:

Educate owners on pet health, nutrition, and post-operative care.
