Founded by Dr. Courtney Campbell, DVM, DACVS-SA, Stitches Veterinary Surgery Center opened in January 2025 with one mission: provide exceptional surgical care while creating an outstanding experience for both our patients and our team. Thanks to our continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our hand-picked surgical team. What You'll Do As our Surgical RVT, you'll be an essential part of every procedure—from preparing patients for surgery to ensuring a smooth recovery. Every day is different, but you'll spend your time: Preparing patients for surgery, including pre-operative assessments and anesthesia planning Inducing, intubating, and safely monitoring anesthesia throughout surgical procedures Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure the highest standard of care Assisting the surgeon by maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments, and anticipating surgical needs Collecting and processing biopsy specimens Administering medications, analgesics, IV fluids, and emergency drugs as directed Placing IV catheters and maintaining vascular access Performing blood draws, diagnostic radiographs, and other laboratory procedures Maintaining detailed medical records and anesthesia logs Assisting with cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment Supporting teammates, communicating with clients, and helping create an exceptional patient experience What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who is confident, compassionate, and enjoys working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
