Veterinary Technician
Job Description
We are hiring for an experienced full-time vet technician that has at least 1 year of experience. The Cat Care Clinic is a full service, feline only veterinary clinic that is looking for an experienced veterinary technician. Our owner, Dr. Elaine Wexler-Mitchell is board certified in feline practice, one of approximately 76 veterinarians in the country with this distinction. We are located in the City of Orange right off the 55 & 91 freeways. We are a busy 8-doctor clinic with a challenging caseload, in house lab, complex surgeries, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and echocardiogram unit. We utilize innovative technology including our paperless computer system. We are open Monday through Friday from 7 am until 6 pm and Saturdays from 7:30 am until 4 pm. We are looking for the right person to join our team and provide excellent patient care and client communication.
Duties will include:
lab sample collection, running in-house lab, surgical prep and monitoring, client education, patient monitoring and care. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule to work both opening and closing shifts. MUST be available Saturdays. Please visit our website at www.catcare.com.
