Role:
Palm Springs Companion Care LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team in beautiful Palm Springs, CA. Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and collect laboratory samples Monitor and care for patients under anesthesia and during post-operative recovery Conduct diagnostic imaging including digital radiography and prepare samples for in-house lab analysis Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care Maintain accurate patient medical records using practice management software Ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
Requirements:
Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in the state of California Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or companion animal practice preferred Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and patient recovery Strong phlebotomy, IV placement, and laboratory skills Excellent communication and client education abilities Compassionate, team-oriented, and able to handle a high-energy clinical environment Familiarity with veterinary practice management software is a plus
