In this vital role, you will provide exceptional animal care, assist with medical procedures, and support the overall health and well-being of our diverse patient population. Your expertise will ensure smooth clinical operations, promote client education, and uphold the highest standards of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of clinical needs. Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures. Perform dental cleanings and related dental procedures in accordance with clinic protocols and professional standards. Monitor patient status during anesthesia, surgery, recovery, and other medical procedures. Collect samples and perform laboratory testing as directed. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure appropriate documentation of patient care. Support client communication by providing clear, professional guidance on pet care and discharge instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment. Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient, compassionate veterinary care. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on veterinary technician experience. Willingness and ability to perform dental procedures. Strong technical skills in patient handling, anesthesia monitoring, and treatment support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of care. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. Preferred Attributes Experience in dental anesthesia and dental radiography. Familiarity with modern veterinary practice systems and medical recordkeeping. Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to patient care.
