Lead Registered Veterinary Technician - Sacramento Established Private Practice in

Schedule requirements include working 5 8-hour shifts, including a rotating Saturday schedule
Who We're Looking For/Skills and Responsibilities:
Leadership-oriented individual capable of supervising RVTs and Veterinary Assistants in clinical and operational duties; minimum 2 years of experience required Experience training, coaching, and mentoring staff to improve technical skills, hospital workflow efficiency, and patient care quality Developing and maintaining structured training programs and individualized development plans for staff Ability to schedule RVTs and Veterinary Assistants to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow Overseeing equipment maintenance and repair, coordinating with vendors or leadership as needed Providing safety training and ensuring compliance with OSHA and hospital safety protocols. Ensuring adherence to DEA regulations for controlled substances and other legal requirements. Performing minor disciplinary actions under the guidance of the Practice Manager, documenting performance concerns as appropriate Collaborating with DVMs to optimize workflow, medical quality, and procedural efficiency • Collaborating with other departments (e.g., front desk, inventory, and administrative teams) to ensure seamless communication, continuity of care, and operational efficiency Conducting performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating professional growth Facilitating effective communication across departments and promoting a positive team environment.
