Job Description

The dermatology team at Apex is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join us in a temporary position, starting in September or October 2026.
This is a temporary position:
We're seeking someone to join our team full-time for an approximate period of three (3) months.Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Veterinary Technician Credential (RVT/CVT/LVT) [
REQUIRED
]- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience (specialty experience is a plus, but not required)
- Skilled in patient restraint using Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
- Proficiency in peripheral venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
- Experience with cytology preparation and microscope use.
- Knowledge of dermatology diagnostics, including intradermal allergy testing (preferred)
- General anesthesia and sedation monitoring experience
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control
- Experience with electronic medical records and accurate medical documentation.
- Excellent client communication and education skills
- Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional patient care
