Do you feel most in your element when monitoring anesthesia, capturing diagnostic-quality dental radiographs, and delivering excellent patient care from start to finish? We're seeking a skilled, team-focused part-time Veterinary Technician to join our expanding practice in Colorado Springs. About the Position This role is a great fit for a technician who: Is confident with anesthesia and enjoys surgical support Has hands-on experience with dentistry, including full-mouth radiographs Prioritizes patient safety and high-quality care Communicates effectively with veterinarians and teammates Stays organized and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our doctors and support staff to assist with soft tissue surgeries, dental procedures, and patient care throughout the entire visit. Key Responsibilities Perform anesthesia induction, intubation, and ongoing monitoring Prepare patients and maintain sterile technique during procedures Complete dental charting and capture full-mouth radiographs Place IV catheters and collect lab samples Oversee recovery and monitor pain management Provide client communication and education when appropriate Maintain accurate and thorough medical records What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience preferred Strong working knowledge of anesthesia monitoring required Dental radiography experience is a plus Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills Dependable, positive, and team-driven attitude CVT/RVT credentials preferred, but not required for the right candidate What You'll Get A positive, supportive team environment A practice committed to high standards of medicine Opportunities to strengthen and utilize advanced technical skills Competitive hourly wages based on experience Employee pet care discounts Continuing education opportunities If you're passionate about surgery and dentistry and want to work with a team that values quality care, accountability, and collaboration, we'd love to connect with you.
