Veterinary Technician Pueblo West Veterinary Clinic Pueblo, CO Job Details Part-time $17.50

Modern office settingResponsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop X-rays of animals
- Provide basic grooming services such as bathing and nail trimming
- Assist with dog training exercises as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a veterinary technician program or equivalent experience
- Certification as a veterinary technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience with X-ray equipment and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
