Bradenton Veterinary Emergency is looking to add an experienced full time team member to work overnights only. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a customer service oriented mind to join a fantastic staff providing excellent emergency care for Manatee County. Full time staff works nights (5:30p-8a or 8p-8a), weekends, and holidays and work an average of 3 shifts per week. We have a great team environment and at BVE you will get the chance to really utilize your skills. Overtime pay is available. The following skills are required for application: Proficient in placing IV catheters in stable and critical patients Animal CPR Induction of and monitoring anesthesia and anticipating problems Familiarity with using IV pumps, syringe pumps, and IV medications Drawing blood from the jugular vein Prior use of in house blood machines Prior use of digital radiology The ability to effectively communicate estimates and treatment plans with clients Basic reception skills Benefits for full time include: Health insurance; currently Blue Cross Blue Shield (paid 60% by BVE) Paid time off after 6 months full time employment CE allowance for licensed technicians Disability insurance (long term and short term) after 1 year (paid 100% by BVE) - Can be used for maternity or medical leave.
