Job Description

Fetch Specialty and Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned hospital dedicated to providing excellent care to pets in our community. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team in our Brandon Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician in Oncology, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to pets undergoing treatment for cancer.
Responsibilities:
Handle and restrain pets during procedures and treatments Administer sedation and induce anesthesia Monitor sedated and anesthetized patients Prepare, calculate and administer medications as prescribed Monitor patients and document their vital signs and response to treatment Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as imaging studies and laboratory work Maintain and update patient records Provide compassionate care and support to pets and their owners Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Oncology department Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Paid Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Safe Harbor 401K with Company Match Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Personal) Holiday Pay Short Term & Long Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Team Member Pet Discount Continuing Education Uniform Allowance Tuition Reimbursement
