The role focuses on animal handling, treatment support, and maintaining a clean, efficient clinical environment. Typical Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during exams and surgeries Prepare and monitor animals before, during, and after procedures Administer medications and treatments Perform laboratory testing and analyze samples Restrain and handle animals safely Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain exam rooms Educate pet owners on treatment plans and preventive care Monitor animal behavior and recovery status Qualifications Experience in veterinary medicine or animal care preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures Ability to safely restrain animals Strong communication and teamwork skills
