Summary Join Imperial Point Animal Hospital as a Senior Veterinary Technician in Delray. This vital role supports our mission to provide the gold standard in veterinary care by ensuring high-quality patient care and assisting our veterinary team in a modern, compassionate environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures Perform laboratory tests and manage in-house labs. Proper animal restraint and ensure animal safety. Maintain detailed medical records and assist with patient care. Operate advanced medical equipment such as digital radiography and K-Laser Support the doctor in surgery and in rooms Place catheteres, intubate, draw blood Execute doctor plans as directed Support pet owners with post-treatment instructions and education. Uphold the hospital's standards of cleanliness and safety Qualifications 3 years of hands-on veterinary technician experience. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy. Experience with laboratory procedures, X-ray operation, and animal handling. Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Certification as a veterinary technician is preferred but not required. Team player and able to work well independently as well as within the team.
