Continuing education opportunities for CVTs Partial tuition reimbursement for CVT programs Annual performance-based bonuses Contribution for Health Insurance Position Overview We are seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians for part-time and full-time positions. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate care to patients and excellent service to clients. Key Responsibilities Restrain and handle animals safely during examinations and procedures Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during surgery Observe and care for animals recovering from surgery; report any concerns Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed Collect laboratory samples (blood, urine, feces) and perform diagnostic tests (including radiographs) Fill prescriptions and maintain accurate medical records Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and exam areas Maintain kennels and animal care areas to ensure sanitation and disease control Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care Provide basic grooming and hygiene services (nail trims, dental cleanings, etc.) Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling and client communication Provide emergency first aid when needed Qualifications Previous veterinary technician experience required (Minimum 1-2 years ). Relevant training in animal care and handling Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to work a flexible schedule , must be available every other weekend and some kennel responsibilities.
