Job Description

Cat Care Clinic of Naples is looking for a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician! Job Summary At Cat Care Clinic of Naples, we believe every cat deserves exceptional care. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our feline-exclusive veterinary team. You'll provide exceptional patient care, assist with medical procedures, and help deliver a concierge-level experience for our clients and their cats. This is a paid position offering meaningful work in a calm, cat-only environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform low-stress feline restraint and handling Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per protocol Conduct in-house lab work: blood chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, cytology Operate digital radiography, ultrasound, and anesthesia monitoring equipment Induce, monitor, and recover feline patients under anesthesia Place IV catheters and support critical care patients Maintain aseptic technique during surgery and sample collection Document all patient care in PIMS system Communicate treatment plans and post-care instructions with clients Qualifications Active Florida Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential, or eligible for licensure through the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine Graduate of AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program Passed VTNE and Florida Laws & Rules Exam Proficient in feline anatomy, pharmacology, and disease processes Experience with anesthesia, IV catheterization, dental prophylaxis, and radiography Fear Free or Cat Friendly Practice training is a plus Strong communication skills and client-first mindset Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Extended periods of standing and walking Manual dexterity for handling instruments and small patients Reasonable accommodations available upon request What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience, $20-25/hour dependent on experience Paid Time Off (15+ days annually based on tenure) Paid holidays Paid Health insurance
