Affordable Pet Care is looking for a part time Veterinary Technician to join our team. These hours may include Saturdays. The technician must have excellent communication and technical skills, while also having the ability to intertwine communications between doctors and team members to ensure a seamless client experience. Expect:

Collection of patients medical history and TPR Collection of lab samples, processing and recording of diagnostic results Proper patient positioning, radiographic imaging Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques Calculation and administration of medication dosages Maintain exceptional client care through communication and education on appropriate preventative medicine, routine surgical procedures and non-routine medical conditions Maintain quality patient care through dedication and compassion Provide nursing care and anesthetic monitoring during surgical procedures and treatments General upkeep of equipment in the technicians work areas Assume all duties of Client Services Representatives and Veterinary Assistants when required or requested

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
