Veterinary Technician

• time veterinary technician.

Happy Tails Pet Clinic is privately owned and we pride ourselves on providing customized, quality pet care to fit the individual need of every single patient. We have a fabulous team that really work together and believe that healthy pets are happy pets. Our new team member will be expected to complete a variety of tasks daily including, but not limited to: vaccine administration, running tech appointments for flea/tick/heartworm and intestinal parasite prevention, nail trims, venipuncture, use of blood pressure monitoring, discussions about preventative wellness medicine with our clients as well as routine history gathering for both sick and well rooms. Candidates must be able to hold pets for exams and keep both themselves as well as the veterinarian safe.

Requirements:

Ability to perform all necessary tasks expected of a veterinary technician Courteous attitude and willingness to learn new skills Up-tone personality and a drive to do your very best every day Availability to work evening/afternoon hours Experience in veterinary medicine required (2 years preferred) Want to join our fantastic team of people who truly care about the health and wellness of beloved pets?
