Veterinary Technician
- Full Time Cowtown Animal Hospital

As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include: Assisting with patient triage and recording vitals Educating clients on wellness care, preventatives, and routine diagnostics Handling and restraining animals with compassion and care Utilizing IDEXX in-house lab equipment (LaserCyte, Catalyst One, Sedivue) and reference labs Collecting samples, wound care, nail trims, gland expression, and suture removal Assisting in surgeries, recovering patients, and discussing post-op instructions AdministeringSQ/IM/IV
injections, drawing blood, and placing IV catheters Preparing and administering medications and vaccines Operating and positioning for radiology (including dental and ultrasound) Performing dental cleanings and supporting doctors during appointments Maintaining accurate patient records using Avimark software (training available)What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience Excellent communication and client service skills Self-motivated, energetic, and team-oriented Strong phone etiquette and client education ability Knowledge of Avimark software is a plus Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without assistance)Benefits & Perks:
