We are hiring Veterinary Technicians only. We are NOT hiring Kennel Assistants, Veterinary Technician Assistants, or entry-level candidates at this time. This is a weekends-only position , perfect for an experienced technician looking for a consistent part-time schedule in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.
Position Details Position:
Part-Time Veterinary Technician Schedule:
Saturdays & Sundays Hours:
10:00 AM - 8:00
PM Experience Required:
Minimum 1 year of veterinary technician experience What We're Looking For We are looking for a confident, skilled technician who can hit the ground running and provide excellent patient care while supporting our veterinarians and hospital team.
Minimum requirement:
At least 1 year of experience working as a veterinary technician Bonus points if you have experience with: Monitoring anesthesia and surgical procedures Taking and positioning patients for diagnostic X-rays Running bloodwork and laboratory diagnostics using IDEXX VetLab IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and medication administration Caring for hospitalized and critical patients Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment sheets Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgery Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery Obtain and monitor patient vitals Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture Collect and process laboratory samples Run in-house bloodwork and diagnostics Take diagnostic radiographs Administer medications and treatments as directed Provide compassionate care to hospitalized and outpatient patients Maintain clean and organized treatment areas Accurately document patient care and medical information Communicate professionally with clients and team members Work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment The Ideal Candidate You are: Experienced and confident in your technical skills Comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital Dependable and punctual Compassionate toward both patients and their owners Detail-oriented and organized A strong communicator and team player Comfortable working independently when needed Available to work both Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 AM-8:00 PM If you're an experienced veterinary technician who loves what you do, works well under pressure, and is looking for a consistent weekend-only schedule , we'd love to hear from you!
