About Us:
We are Oviedo's only Fear Free Certified veterinary practice , dedicated to making every visit as stress-free and positive as possible for our patients and their families. As a busy, progressive small animal hospital, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality medicine, compassionate care, and exceptional client service. Our team values collaboration, kindness, and continuous learning—and we're looking for a motivated Exam Room Veterinary Technician to join us!
Position Summary:
The Exam Room Technician is a vital part of our hospital team, supporting both our doctors and clients. This role centers on client communication, patient care, and ensuring each visit is a positive experience for pets and their families. Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrive in a Fear Free, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Welcoming clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Obtaining detailed patient histories and documenting in electronic records Safely and gently restraining dogs and cats using Fear Free handling techniques Assisting veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and procedures Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized workspace Educating clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and home care instructions Administering vaccines, medications, and collecting lab samples (under doctor's direction) Supporting a positive and efficient hospital workflow
Qualifications:
1 Year previous veterinary experience required—willing to train the right candidate Strong communication and client service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Compassion for animals and their people Reliability, accountability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude

Schedule:
Full-time preferred but willing to consider part-time (25-35 hours) depending on availability and Must be able to work periodic Saturday shifts. No Sundays required. How to
