Job Description:

Matanzas River Animal Hospital is a privately owned, multi-doctor veterinary hospital seeking an experienced and motivated veterinary technician to join our team in St. Augustine, FL. If you're looking to be part of a collaborative, high-quality, full-service hospital in a beautiful coastal community, this is an excellent opportunity. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and brings a strong work ethic along with a positive attitude and sense of humor. We prioritize patient care above all else, so flexibility and a team-first mindset are essential. We are seeking someone with proven technical skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Client communication and education Patient assessment and monitoring Medication administration Performing diagnostics (radiography, ECG, laboratory testing) Assisting with medical and surgical procedures Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Maintaining and updating hospitalized patient treatments and orders St. Augustine offers an exceptional quality of life, with great schools, a warm climate, and close proximity to the beach, Jacksonville, and historic downtown areas. It's an ideal location for those who enjoy outdoor activities and coastal living.

Schedule:

4.5 days per week

Weekdays:

7:00 AM - 6:00

PM Rotating Saturdays:

7:00 AM - 12:00 PM This is a full-time position with a competitive salary based on experience.
